IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES ARRIVE AT CALLAO CINEMAS

Cines Callao, one of the most emblematic buildings in the centre of Madrid, announces the incorporation of an immersive video mapping system to its technical equipment. A revolutionary interior projection system that goes beyond the limits of the conventional screen, as it covers extensive areas within the main cinema room, Room 1, giving rise to unique immersive experiences. This innovation, in addition to unfolding a range of unlimited creative possibilities, will add distinctive value to any event held at the Callao City Lights facilities.

The experience will be materialised through a three-dimensional projection that will captivate the viewer by impacting on all the walls and part of the ceiling of Room 1, exponentially enhancing the audiovisual and creative capabilities with which agencies can work. To carry out this vision, Callao City Lights has opted for the creative collaboration of Maramura, a specialised production company that already worked with the company in the creation of 3D actions on the screens of its façades and simulated outdoor advertising.

This experience will be possible thanks to the installation of a new projection infrastructure, which includes two 20,000 lumens laser projectors connected to a Watch Out system. This innovative software makes it possible to project images onto various surfaces without noticeable distortion, ensuring exceptional visual quality.

This technological incorporation is in addition to the recent refurbishment of both the interior and exterior of Cines Callao, which has undergone significant improvements in aspects such as the renovation of the seats, the repair of staircases and the installation of new ones.
