JEREMY ALLEN WHITE AND SCOTT COOPER, STARS OF THE EUROPEAN PREMIERE OF “SPRINGSTEEN: DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE” AT CINE CALLAO

Actor Jeremy Allen White and screenwriter, director and producer Scott Cooper were the stars of the European premiere of  Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, held at Cines Callao.

The preview took place in the cinema’s two auditoriums, after the actors and talents posed for photos on the photocall set up on its iconic terrace, El Cielo de Callao, which was broadcast live on the screen in the square. Beforehand, attendees were treated to a performance by Manel Fuentes and his band The Springsteam, who played some of Bruce Springsteen’s most famous songs in the square.

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere chronicles the creation of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 album Nebraska. Recorded on a four-track tape recorder in Springsteen’s bedroom in New Jersey, the album marked a turning point in his life and is considered one of his most enduring works: a raw and evocative acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe.

Starring Jeremy Allen White in the role of Bruce Springsteen, the film is directed by Scott Cooper from his adaptation of the book of the same name by Warren Zanes.
