HARPER`S BAZAAR CHOOSES CALLAO FOR WOMEN OF THE YEAR AWARDS

A night of luxury and glamour at Cines Callao. More than 250 guests attended the gala of the first edition of the Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, which Harper’s Bazaar magazine presented on 16 November to 8 women who have broken barriers in their fields and have become an example and inspiration for society. The winners were Gabriela Hearst (Fashion Award), Valentina Sampaio (Model Award), Sabine Getty (Phylantrophy Award), Milena Smit (New Talent Award), Emmanuelle Seigner (Cinema Award), Tamara Falcó (Entrepreneur Award), Helena Christensen (Icon Award) and Luz Casal (Music Award).

Hall 1 of our cinemas became the setting for a spectacular gala where the armchairs were replaced by several round tables around which the guests were seated. A green décor, full of plants and flowers, covered the entire room.

Before the gala began, the VIP guests posed at the photocall located at the entrance of Cines Callao while the outdoor screens showed some of the best Harper’s Bazaar covers. Esther Cañadas, Laura Ponte, Leiva, Luis Tosar, Inés Sastre, Nerea Barros, Marta Ortiz, Nicolás Montenegro, Gala González, José Mari Manzanares, Boris Izaguirre, Maxi Iglesias and Paco León were among those attending this tribute to female talent. After the awards ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail and live music by several singers and a DJ.
