CALLAO, SCENE OF THE XXI INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY SHORT FILM FESTIVAL ADN

Enthusiasm, excitement and a lot of emotions. This was the atmosphere that was breathed during the awards gala of the XXI ADN International University Short Film Festival, organised by the University of Nebrija in our cinemas. A competition in which 169 short films from 33 universities from 7 countries took part, which is an absolute record for the longest-running university festival in Spain, and in which Colombia was the guest country.

The filmmaker Alex de la Iglesia and the documentary film director, producer and screenwriter Silvia Venegas received the Honorary 2025 awards, at a gala in which the big winner was the short film ‘Su imagen’, directed by Cristina García Cantalejo, which won 6 awards (Best Short Film, Best Direction, Best Screenplay, Best Sound, Best Acting and Audience Award).

The event, which started with a musical performance by the 17 members of the band Musicales Junior, ended with a cocktail served in the ambiguous area of our cinemas.
