CINES CALLAO, VENUE FOR THE WORLD PREMIERE OF SEASON 3 OF ‘THE WALKING DEAD: DARYL DIXON’

There was great excitement at the entrance to our cinemas to see the stars of the third season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. A packed square cheered the actors throughout the long photocall that preceded the preview of this new installment, which was shown in our two theaters. There was a spectacular video mapping projection in Theater 1, where the Plaza del Callao was transformed into a scene from the apocalyptic series.

The stars of the show, Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, were in attendance, as were the Spanish actors who form part of the cast of this new season, filmed in 22 municipalities across Spain: Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, Alexandra Masangkay, Hugo Arbués, Greta Fernández, and Candela Saitta.

For a few hours, the square became a set for The Walking Dead, where the public could take photos on a set that replicated the series’ scenery and even pose with the zombies wandering around the area.

This season, which will be available on AMC+, has had a large Spanish presence: 98% of the production team, 98% of the stunt performers, and 93% of the actors.

DJ and radio host Tony Aguilar was in charge of welcoming the actors and hosting the event.
