Great expectation inside and outside Cines Callao for the preview of the new version of ‘The Little Mermaid’, this time with flesh and blood actors.

Hundreds of onlookers and fans of the film flocked to the square to get a close-up look at the celebrities who walked the red carpet at this Disney premiere. Javier Bardem, who plays King Triton in the film, father of Ariel, the little mermaid. 

We could also see Luis Tosar, Santiago Segura, Chanel, Goya Toledo, María Castro, Pelayo Díaz, Ruth Lorenzo, Carme Chaparro and Itziar Castro, among others. And, of course, a large representation of children’s audiences in the two theatres, 1 and 2, which hosted this eagerly awaited premiere.

The Little Mermaid’ is directed by Oscar nominee Rob Marshall, known for other feature films such as ‘Chicago’ and ‘The Return of Mary Poppins’. In addition to Javier Bardem, the film stars Halle Bailey as Ariel, Melissa McCarthy as the evil Ursula, and Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric.
