CINES CALLAO HOSTS THE PREVIEW OF ‘EL AÑO DEL RELEVO’ (THE YEAR OF THE RELAY)
Cines Callao was the setting for the premiere of ‘El año del relevo’, a documentary film that gives visibility to the young farmers who are revolutionising the pig sector in Spain.
Nearly 800 people attended this preview that took place in our emblematic Sala 1 and whose photocall, located at the entrances to the cinema, was broadcast live on the building’s outdoor screens. Hosted by the presenter Silvia Jato, the event was attended by personalities from the administration, well-known faces from the world of cinema, influencers and, of course, representatives from the agri-food world.
Directed by the filmmaker Laura Jou, the film portrays the daily life of several young livestock farmers and their essential role in the revitalisation of the rural environment, as well as in the conservation of the cultural and environmental identity of their communities. The documentary, promoted by Interprofesional del Porcino de Capa Blanca (Interporc), can be seen on the Rakuten TV platform.
