MADRID CITY COUNCIL WELCOMES THE POPE ON THE GRAN VÍA
Madrid City Council has launched an official campaign on the 15 screens of the Gran Vía Circuit to welcome Pope Leo XIV on his upcoming visit to Spain. The Supreme Pontiff will visit Madrid between 6 and 9 June and will subsequently travel to Barcelona and the Canary Islands. The image shows the Pope against a yellow background with a white outline of the Cibeles fountain, the colours of the Vatican, and concludes with the slogan ‘Madrid, where paths cross’, recently incorporated into the city’s revamped logo.
