EL CIELO DE CALLAO, NEW VENUE FOR CORPORATE EVENTS AT CALLAO CITY LIGHTS

Callao City Lights has inaugurated El Cielo de Callao, the iconic terrace of Cines Callao, as a new venue available for corporate events. A place full of history that can be used independently or combined with the other spaces of Cines Callao.

The presentation, held on 26 March, was given by Josué Reyzábal, CEO of Callao City Lights, and Fran López Gallego, director of Cines Callao. ‘We are delighted to be able to present this new space to our clients for the celebration of their corporate events. El Cielo de Callao represents the icing on the cake in this emblematic building, the Cines Callao, which has hosted the best events held in Madrid for so many years,’ said Josué Reyzábal.

‘It has been weeks of hard work culminating in the inauguration of this space with which we want to complement our offer in the events sector. A unique and exclusive terrace in one of the most emblematic buildings in the centre of Madrid’, said Fran López Gallego.

With a surface area of 450 m2 and a seating capacity of 320 people in cocktail format, El Cielo de Callao also has a 100 m2 covered hall that can be incorporated into the event, lift access and independent toilets on the same floor. In line with the building’s cinematographic tradition, the terrace also includes a giant screen for projections where the screen that originally presided over the summer cinema that Cines Callao once had was located.

Cines Callao also has 2 cinemas, an ambigú and a hall at the entrance to the building. Room 1 allows the removal of seats, leaving an open and customisable space for more than 400 people in cocktail format.
