RTVE PRESENTS ITS NEW SEASON IN CALLAO
No faltó nadie a la cita. Bajo el slogan ‘RTVE, la que quieres’, el pasado 9 de septiembre presentadores, actrices, actores y equipo directivo de la Corporación acudieron, entre otros, a la presentación de la nueva programación de RTVE, en un evento que combinó activación en plaza y espectáculo con proyección en la emblemática sala 1 de los Cines Callao. Como colofón, los asistentes pudieron disfrutar también del preestreno del primer capítulo de la segunda temporada de la serie juvenil ‘Hit’, que podrá verse próximamente en RTVE.

Under the slogan ‘RTVE, la que quieres’, on 9 September presenters, actresses, actors and the Corporation’s management team attended, among others, the presentation of RTVE’s new programming, in an event that combined activation in the square and a show with projection in the emblematic Sala 1 of the Cines Callao. To round off the event, attendees were also able to enjoy the preview of the first episode of the second season of the youth series ‘Hit’, which will soon be shown on RTVE.
The photocall, located in the very centre of the Plaza del Callao, was attended by the main faces of programmes and series from all the channels: ‘MasterChef’, ‘Cuéntame cómo pasó’, ‘Ana Tramel’, ‘La hora de La 1’, Informativos, La 2, Radio Nacional, RTVE Play and Clan, among others. The public in the square could see them in situ and also on the giant screens of Callao City Lights, where the red carpet of the event was broadcast live.
Ion Aramendi, presenter of ‘El Cazador’ and ‘Mejor contigo’; Boris Izaguirre, master of ceremonies of ‘Lazos de Sangre’, and María Eizaguirre, director of Communication and Participation of RTVE, were in charge of presenting the event, in which the keys to the new stage and the launch of ‘La gran consulta’, the participation campaign launched a few days ago to find out what kind of public broadcaster the citizens want.
Eurovision
The gala revealed, among other new features, that Benidorm will once again be the venue for choosing the Spanish representative for the next Eurovision Song Contest; that Boris Izaguirre and Ana García Obregón will present the traditional Telepasión gala next Christmas and that, in the news section, La1 will have a new debate programme, which will be hosted by the journalist Javier Ruiz.
RTVE Play, the new video and live platform, which replaces the former A la Carta, was also presented. It will expand its catalogue with exclusive content: original productions, historical series, successful international series, documentaries and films. It was also announced that the journalist Carlos del Amor will be in charge of the new programme ‘La matemática del espejo’ on La 2 and that Soleá Morente and Miguel Poveda will premiere the programme ‘Los caminos del flamenco’.
