CINES CALLAO HOSTS THE AMPE AWARDS CEREMONY
Our iconic Room 1 was the venue for the 52nd edition of the AMPE Awards, organised by the Spanish Advertising Media Association. The event was attended by representatives from the advertising and media industry, who enjoyed a dinner served in the stalls of our hall.
Nearly 300 guests experienced the exciting gala live, with the Grand AMPE de Oro going to the “KFC Fries Compensation” campaign, conceived and developed by the agencies PS21 and Arena Media for the KFC restaurant brand.
The event also included the presentation of an honorary award to José Manuel Rodrigo, whose career has been linked to AMPE for decades as president of the association and who already received the Ampe de Honor award in 2008. Rodrigo was also named, as announced at this gala, honorary president of the organisation that brings together the advertising media.

The awards presented annually by the Spanish Advertising Media Association have returned after a five-year hiatus, with a 35% increase in participation compared to the last edition (2019), with a total of 91 entries. The jury, chaired by Lucía Angulo (CEO of McCann Worldgroup Spain and McCann Spain), presented a list of winners comprising 40 pieces, which were recognised with Ampes de Oro and Ampes de Plata awards.
