EVENTS IN OUR SPACE
RICHARD AND ALEJANDRA GERE AT THE PREVIEW OF THE DOCUMENTARY ‘WHAT NO ONE WANTS TO SEE’
There was much anticipation surrounding the arrival of Richard Gere and his wife, Alejandra Silva, at our cinemas. The couple returned to Spain to present one of their most special projects: the documentary Lo que nadie quiere ver (What Nobody Wants to See), made in collaboration with the organisation Hogar Sí. In this short film, a group of homeless people who have overcome their situation tell their harrowing stories, with the aim of raising awareness of this serious social problem.
The event, presented by journalist Matías Prats Chacón, was attended by prominent figures from the worlds of culture, politics and social causes.
After the screening, which took place in our iconic Theatre 1, a short discussion was held on stage, moderated by actress Elena Anaya, with the participation of the Gere couple and the protagonists of the documentary.
Afterwards, attendees were invited to enjoy cocktails in our cinema bar.
The premiere also featured images from the photocall and excerpts from the documentary on our outdoor screens.
