Cines Callao was the setting for the European premiere of the fifth season of the hit series ‘The Chosen’, which will be released in cinemas on 10 April and later on platforms and on the series’ own app.

Hundreds of people attended the event to get a close-up look at the stars of this new instalment of the popular series that has taken the US by storm. The premiere was also attended by many well-known faces, including the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, the singer Rosana and the influencer Tamara Falcó.

All of them were interviewed in a space next to the photocall located at the entrance of our cinemas, a broadcast that could be seen live on the outdoor screens of Cines Callao.

The presentation included a performance by the band Hakuna, who played 3 songs live, and the words of some of the protagonists of the series, who, together with the VIP guests, were able to enjoy a catering service in the ambiguous area before the screening of the first two episodes of the new season.

The Chosen’ is a drama series created, directed and co-written by American filmmaker Dallas Jenkins. It is the first multi-season series about the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth.
