Callao City Lights was one of the sponsors of the MADO 2025 Awards, which were presented yesterday as part of the official programme of Madrid Pride. This year’s winners were: the Lambda Valencia Collective, the actress Cayetana Guillén Cuervo, the artist and activist Samantha Hudson and, in memoriam, the figure of Pedro Zerolo.

Created in 2009, these awards aim to recognise and highlight the work of individuals, organisations, groups, activists and institutions – public or private – that have made an outstanding contribution to the advancement, defence and visibility of the rights of LGTBIQ+ people.

MADO Madrid Pride 2025 will be held for 11 days, from 26 June to 6 July, with an extensive programme of events, activities, celebrations and concerts.
