🎞️ 100 YEARS OF HISTORY AT THE CINEMAS OF CALLAO!
Josué Reyzábal, owner of Cines Callao, on Carlos Alsina’s “Más de uno” (Onda Cero), recounts how Cines Callao opened its doors in 1926 and pioneered sound films (1929), color (1935), and 3D (1953).
They weathered mass closures by reinventing themselves with events, premieres, musicals, and large-format advertising screens in Plaza de Callao. “Fortunately, Cines Callao is more than just a movie theater: it’s a multipurpose cultural venue! Celebrating these 100 years is an honor and a pleasure for me.” – Josué Reyzábal.
