PLAYSTATION 4 CHOOSES CALLAO SCREENS TO BROADCAST THE UEFA ECHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL
The UEFA eChampions League final, an online competition organised by UEFA and Electronics Arts Sports, publisher of FIFA 19, was also held in Madrid. The day before the official competition that faced Liverpool and Tottenham at Wanda Metropolitano de Madrid, hundreds of PlayStation 4 and FIFA 2019 fans gathered in Madrid’s Plaza del Callao to watch the exciting first edition’s final of this online championship, which was broadcast live on the giant screens of Callao City Lights. A global event including the the 8 best players participation in the world of FIFA 2019 who came to Madrid to play the last matches of the competition and the aforementioned final on PlayStation 4.
The public in the square could watch, for an hour, how the participants faced each other in a vibrant match that finally won the American NYC_Chris, becoming the best player of FIFA 19.
PlayStation 4, as a sponsor of the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA 19 Global Series, chose to amplify the competition with this live broadcast on the screens of Callao City Lights.
