DISNEY + LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN COMBINED WITH TWITTER TO PROMOTE ‘PAM & TOMMY’.

On the occasion of the premiere of the season finale of the miniseries ‘Pam & Tommy’, which tells the story of the relationship between actress and model Pamela Anderson and drummer Tommy Lee, Disney + carried out a special action in Callao City Lights in which conventional advertising was combined with the innovative OnAir technology, which allows screens to be linked to the Twitter platform. The campaign showed sequences from the series along with comments on Twitter from users who had already seen it.

To participate in this action, Disney+ invited viewers to bring out the critic in all of us to tell the world their opinion about the series, using the hashtag #PamAndTommy. Thanks to OnAir technology, which allows the management of Twitter content in real time, some of these comments were shown on the screens of Callao City Lights. The campaign, which began on March 9th, has counted with the participation of Publicis, in media management, and Twitter, Flux and Guud, in social media. Pam & Tommy’ is an 8-part miniseries starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan. Written by Robert D. Siegel and directed by Craig Gillespie, it premiered on Disney+ on 2 February.

‘ONE FLAG’ OF ALIEXPRESS HAS BEEN CHOSEN BY TWITTER IN THEIR ANNUAL LIST ‘BEST OF TWEETS’ 2021

As it does every year, Twitter has released its #BestOfTweets 2021 list, in which the platform selects the most innovative campaigns, shared and commented on by users carried out on the social network throughout the year.

‘One Flag’ from AliExpress, selected as ‘Best Digital to Physical World Activation’ in #BestOfTweets 2021

AliExpress‘ “One Flag” campaign, managed by OMD on the digital screens of Callao City Lights using Guud‘s OnAir technology, has been chosen by Twitter to be part of its annual #BestOfTweets 2021 list, being highlighted as ‘Best Digital to Physical World Activation’.

The campaign, which encouraged people to send messages of support to athletes at the Tokyo Olympics, synchronised the Callao screen with people’s interaction on Twitter thanks to Guud’s technology, creating a 10-day multi-channel strategy that combined outdoor advertising with the digital world. To do so, AliExpress invited its followers to tweet their message of support for the athletes, accompanied by the hashtag #OneFlag. The selected tweets were displayed, after asking the user’s permission, on the large-format digital screens of Callao City Lights, located on the façades of the emblematic Cines Callao.

A Timeline Takeover was also made in order to be the first advertising video seen by users connecting to Twitter that day. In total, more than 48 million impressions were generated on Twitter and 6.5 million impressions on OOH.

NETFLIX TURNS TO ONAIR TECHNOLOGY FOR THE PREMIERE OF ‘FUIMOS CANCIONES’.

 

 

Like Maca in ‘Fuimos canciones’’, the new film by Juana Macías that can be seen on Netflix, we have all made shitty decisions at some point in our lives. To promote this premiere, the content platform developed an action that combined conventional advertising with innovative OnAir technology, linking the screens of Callao City Lights in the Plaza del Callao and Gran Vía in Madrid with the interaction of users on Twitter.

To do so, Netflix invited its followers to tell on Twitter their wrong decision, accompanied by the hashtag #DecisiónDeMierda. The selected tweets were displayed, after asking the user’s permission, on the large-format digital screens of Callao City Lights, located on the façades of the emblematic Cines Callao.

CALLAO CITY LIGHTS SHOWCASE THE ‘ONE FLAG’ MOVEMENT BY ALIEXPRESS

 

The market place AliExpress has launched a campaign in Callao City Lights to raise awareness of the ‘One Flag’ movement, an initiative designed to support Spanish athletes competing in the world’s greatest sporting event, which is taking place in Tokyo. The action combines conventional advertising with innovative OnAir technology, which links the screen of the Callao square with the Twitter platform.

AliExpress, as an Olympic Partner, wants to send all the support of the fans to the athletes participating in the event. To do so, it has decided to turn everyone’s feelings into a symbol that represents them: the One Flag, a multicoloured flag that will be the result of the combination of the most outstanding colours of the selfies that followers from all over the world share on Twitter, under the hashtag #OneFlag and tagging AliExpress. Each selfie will be like a thread that will help to make the flag. The most original tweets will be shared on the Callao City Lights screen located in the Plaza del Callao and their authors will receive a photo of their tweet on screen as proof that it has been published.

How to participate?

To take part in this action, all you have to do is enter oneflag.me and upload a selfie of yourself cheering on the athletes. The user will then create their own flag thread and receive an official digital certificate of participation. The number of participants in this initiative will be updated in real time on the Callao City Lights screen.

The campaign has the participation of OMD, in media management, and Twitter and Guud, in social media.

Under the slogan “Add your thread, show your support, and be part of this great AliExpress banner”, the messages from users will be broadcast for half an hour daily, from 7pm to 7.30pm, between 18 July and 2 August, and will be broadcast again on the closing day of the event, 8 August.
